Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic and the end SARS protest which interrupted Nigeria and the world at large, the National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC) passing out parade for Batch C2 2019/2020 service year came with a mixed feeling. it is obvious the nine days of extensive training on Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) which the scheme thought it wise to engage graduates in line with the vision of creating jobs is a cliche. What passing out corps members share here is totally contrary to why the program was initiated. The Nigerian National Youth Service Corps is a mandatory call to serve the country. University graduates before considered eligible to go into the labor force are absolved as corps members and are deployed to different States within the Nation apart from their State of origin to serve. The last batch of 2020 to pass out of the service scheme shares their experience of the service year mentioning what was the most favorite part and the most boring part.
